Urban Health Plan’s Dr. Richard Izquierdo Legacy Gala
6 pm, October 29, 2025| Glen Island Harbor, New Rochelle, NY
For more than half a century, Urban Health Plan (UHP) has been a lifeline in New York’s most underserved neighborhoods, delivering not only high-quality health care but dignity, trust, and equity.
Founded in 1974 in the heart of the South Bronx by Dr. Richard Izquierdo, UHP has grown to serve more than 89,000 patients annually across the Bronx, Central Harlem, and Queens, becoming one of the nation’s largest and most respected federally qualified health centers.
This year’s gala honors Dr. Izquierdo’s vision: that health care is a right, not a privilege. The evening will bring together 400+ health care leaders, community advocates, and supporters for a celebration of impact and a call to action for the future.
Your sponsorship fuels our mission, and you’ll be investing in a future where every New Yorker, regardless of zip code, has access to high-quality, culturally responsive care. We invite you to stand with us, celebrate with us, and build with us because the next 51 years begin now!
