Why We Host the Expo

UHP’s Nutrition Department works year-round to raise awareness, share knowledge, and empower our community to make healthier choices. Once a year, we bring that mission to life with a free day of hands-on education, screenings, and resources, right in the neighborhood.

UHP’s Director of Nutrition, Anna Rickards, shares, “Living with diabetes can feel overwhelming, but no one should have to manage it alone. Our Expo is about meeting people where they are, answering their questions, and giving them real, practical tools they can use starting that same day.”

What to Expect

This year’s Expo will bring together physicians, nutritionists, and community organizations to offer:
